On May 28th, Massachusetts Governor, Deval Patrick signed Chapter 116 of the acts of 2010 into Law. This law requires all liquor licensees to show proof of liquor liability insurance coverage when they apply to renew their licenses with their respective municipalities, effective August 28, 2010. The law requires coverage limits of a least $250,000 per person and $500,000 per occurrence.
